The building on the right is the hay barn, where literally hay was stored and wheeled over to the main building when needed. We redid it the summer of '98 and rent it out to Rolf Monument. The siding we used is the same galvanized siding The Granary was clad with nearly a century ago! Needless to say it has weathered a bit. We still are debating about replacing the old siding which sort of grows on you over time. It especially grows on you when thinking about working on the tower some 50 to 70 feet up and maneuvering 16' X 3' pieces of siding which act as sails with the slightest gust of wind.
